Your Personal Brand
What distinguishes one candidate from another? In other words what is their Personal Brand? What is it that stands out and separates them from other candidates?

We believe that this is a critical element as we assess and select candidates for our clients.

One of our best tools in assessing a candidate’s personal brand is conducting and documenting Confidential Business Reference Interviews that are then included in our Candidate Presentation Portfolios for all candidate finalists.

We do this at this point in the process for two reasons:

  • The people that have worked with the candidates (Their Managers, Peers, Direct Reports, Customers, Suppliers, etc.) know them better than we do and potentially may describe them differently than we will.
  • We feel it is the type of information that should be considered before that hiring decision is made, not after it has already been made.
